Welcome to the Loggie One-Name Study. This study has been set up to find the history of the Loggie or Logie surname, along with other lesser-known variants. Initial work has been carried out on the Loggie family centred around Muirkirk, Ayrshire, and its diaspora, principally in the USA, New Zealand and Australia. Research is ongoing; families have been identified in New Brunswick, Canada and Utah, USA. There are other families with this name in Moray and Orkney, and these will be added in due course. Data published here is subject to 100, 75 and 50 year closure for births, marriages and deaths respectively.
